WBC Muaythai returns to Queensland

WBC Muay Thai returns to Queensland at Battle by The Bay 3 August 6, 2011 Thornlands Arena with three vacant Queensland titles on the line. The headlining bout sees Middleweight "The Roman Soldier" Roberto Sereola trained by Australian Muay Thai legend John Wayne Parr taking on "The Camera Man" Ryan Crawford trained by Paul Madigan from the Mad X Gym. The bout, scheduled for 5 rounds of full Muay Thai rules will see the winner crowned the new WBC Muay Thai Queensland Champion, the first of its kind in Queensland.

In the co-main events the man they call "Diesel" Ben Austin will take on "The Destroyer" Bevan O'Mally for the vacant Queensland Welterweight title whilst female title contenders Joanna Mceachern and Narelle Leahey will go to war to decide who is the WBC Muay Thai Queen of the Super Bantams.

The last spectacular WBC Muay Thai show in Queensland 2005 saw Nathan "Carnage" Corbett knock out Japan's Magnum Sakai whilst John Wayne Parr narrowly lost to Thailand's Yodsanklai Fairtex for the WBC Muay Thai World Title. Battle by The Bay August 6 will be no less if not bigger, as six proud competitors go head to head to compete for the prestigious title.
