Lunghitano to take on Andy Regan for WA state crown

Battle Collossal Origins Sunday May 29, 2011 will see an epic match up between two upcoming stars in Jamie "The Dragon" Lunghitano versus Andy Regan for the vacant super middleweight Western Australia WBC Muaythai state title. Lunghitano who has emerged through the ranks with some dominating performances will come in the lesser experienced of the two nonetheless Regan is prepared for the challenge. Known for his relentless striking and formidable hunger to knock out opponents matched with the explosive and awkward style of Lunghitano will sure make for a bout to remember. Over five rounds under full Thai rules the two will make history as the very first West Australian super middleweight title contenders. The currently vacant super middleweight West Australian state title will be heavily contested in months to come with plenty of fresh and emerging talent ready to justify their status as king of one of Australia's seven states.

Also on the card will be a Western Australia WBC Muaythai rankings bout for first place between Chris "Iron Fist" Garner versus Chris Watt in a match up where similar styles clash in an all out war. Garner coming off the recent loss to now-champ Dusan Salva will be looking to prove his worth when he steps in against Watt. This will be one exciting match as the two are very similar in fighting style and demeanor.

Sam Drake will take on Michael Armstong in a super welterweight Muay Thai war and former champion Will Shortalnd makes his comeback against the son of Jeremy "The Anvil" Allen  Brandon Allen in a cruiserweight superfight.

Various other bouts on the card will allow for fresh talent to emerge with novice fighters from all gyms looking to boost their experience and talents.
